Nora Singley is a seasoned New York City food stylist, recipe developer, and culinary producer with over a dozen years of training in food television, video production, and recipe development across editorial, web, and commercial industries. Her clients include Martha Stewart Living, PBS, Bon Appétit, Real Simple, Epicurious and The Food Network.
Over the course of six years, Nora worked as a full-time television chef, recipe developer and food stylist for Martha Stewart and three of her on-air programs: The Martha Stewart Show, Martha’s Cooking School and Martha Bakes. During her tenure, Nora worked side-by-side in the kitchen with esteemed guest chefs such as Lidia Bastianich, Tom Colicchio, Dorie Greenspan, Daniel Boulud, Yotam Ottolenghi, and Jamie Oliver to execute their recipes and techniques on air.
Training under Martha demanded an exacting attention to detail, ingredients, and flavor, with mastery of both savory cooking and pastry. After her long run with Martha Stewart, including numerous on-air appearances as a guest on Martha’s show, Nora began work as a freelancer in 2013.
Since then, Nora’s experience has run the gamut, as culinary producer traveling the country from Alaska to Hawaii and beyond for five seasons of PBS' Emmy-nominated Moveable Feast, to styling best-selling cookbooks and magazine covers, to executing intricate food scenes for movies and commercials, to developing and cooking (and winning!) recipes for barbecue competition shows in the South.
Past experience as a restaurant line cook, assistant to a James Beard award-winning cookbook author, weekly columnist for 7 years at The Kitchn, and Director of Education and instructor at Murray’s Cheese all fortify Nora’s know-how and passion for all things food.
